Stretch Mark Cream
-1/4 cup cocoa butter
-1 teaspoon light sesame oil
-1 teaspoon apricot kernel oil
-1 teaspoon vitamin E oil
Place all the ingredients in an ovenproof glass container and gently
heat until the cocoa butter is melted and the oils are well mixed.
Pour into a clean container and allow the cream to cool completely.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Apricot Baby Oil
-1/4 cup apricot kernel oil
-1 tablespoon light sesame oil
-1/2 tablespoon wheat germ oil
-1-2 drops essential oil of sweet orange, chamomile, or lavender
(optional)
Stir together all ingredients and pour into a clean, dry container
with a tight-fitting lid. To use: Massage a small amount into warm
or damp skin. Store in a cool, dark, dry location.
Diaper Cream
-2 tablespoons
-1 teaspoon coconut oil
-1 teaspoon apricot kernel oil
-1/4 teaspoon vitamin E oil
-1/2 cup distilled water
Mix together the lecithin, coconut oil, apricot kernel oil, and
vitamin E oil. Heat this mixture gently until the coconut oil is
liquefied. Gently heat the distilled water until it is roughly the
same temperature as the oil mixture. Pour the lecithin mixture into
a blender and start stirring. Slowly add the warm water and blend on
High until the mixture is thick and creamy. Pour the cream into a
clean container and allow it to cool completely, stirring
occasionally. To use: Apply a small amount onto your baby's clean
bottom before diapering.
Note: You can adjust this cream's consistency by adding more or less
water to the recipe."
